Lovely character , do you have plans for him or was he just for fun?

No plans. Just practice.
Yesss fuck the system!
fun fact , in my language (greek) Pipa is a word for blowjob. Thats why it sucks so much.
Ha! That's so perfect I'm willing to believe the bill's acronym isn't a coincidence.
I love it.. his biostructure is very interesting , clearly a merman but still , original. Great pose too! And the sea's surface is very well done , i think it could use more splashing where he emerges from the waters but not a big deal. Very good work overall , a deserved FP feature!
Thank you! I wasn't sure whether or not to add more effects on the water as I tend to over-do it. Or in this case, under-do it.
Very neat background work friend! It feels very alive. Maybe you could add some forsaken temple on the back to maximaze the creepy feel you get from mistly jungles like this! Also, seems like you forgotten to add this to the art portal , unless its my browser's glitch. When you submit an art piece , make sure you tick the box saying "this is not a sketch , include it on the art portal." This way many more people will be able to see it and vote on its awesomness ;)
Oh wow, thanks for the reminder! I didn't know about that. I'm still new to this site. ^^
I love the way you render the metalics , the tiny lights are also very good , subtle but very atmospheric. very cool!
I actually payed special attention to the metallic texture on this so that it wouldn't look like plastic or something.
I love your work so much bro..We should do a collab or an art trade or anything one day. You are awesome <3
Hey thanks a bunch!
I'm usually up for quick collabs. or art trades if i have the time. thanks for the high score! you got some cool stuff!
*highfives*
Thats badass! I especially love the rendering of the arms. 2 comments : 1) The feet are a little too simple in comparison to the rest of the character. Therefore , the image is not so balanced because one side has many details while the other is less eye-catching. I'd suggest some reptilian-fashioned legs , like the style you used for the arms.
2) When you colour your linework , make sure the colours blend well between line and object. The blue parts are awesome but if you take a look at the yellow parts , the blue line is stark and feels 2D.
i see what you are talking about
i guess i didnt see
thanks for the pointer :D
i love the amount of detail!
Thank you!
This has to be my favourite of your pieces. I have to admit that as an aspiring artist myself i consider you as a great motivational source. Cheers sir , fucking cheers.
hey great!
I always love hearing that my art is helping out in that way. Thanks so much for the high score ad for sharing! your stuff is getting really great!
